Happy Birthday in Heaven
Today would have been my sister, Lynn’s 60th birthday. I, and so many, still miss her beyond belief. It has only been a year and a half. Grief changes but I’m not sure it ever really goes away. I wanted to share a small tribute and the following words. If you knew her, these words her dear friend wrote ring so true. I could not have said it better.
This painting was Lynn’s favorite. It had a prominent place on her living room wall. She had always envisioned this is how she would be greeted when she passed from this world into the everlasting Arms – with such joy abandoned. I have no doubt. Her friend, Karen’s words describe perfectly who Lynn was:
“You will always be thought of with love. You were sunshine in a dark sky, you were flowers in the desert, you were kindness when there was none, you were a friend to the friendless, you were someone who gave & gave, but mostly you were devoted to the Lord! He has you & I know when you gave Him your crown, it was so filled with jewels. I miss you & will never forget your goodness & friendship.” -Karen Coudray
God bless you all, my friends, and let my sister’s legacy run deep within you. If you knew her, you were indeed so blessed.
